HCIR Gets Its First Grant Funding

HCIR is thrilled to have won 25k from the recently formed philanthropic collaboration between Asian American Futures and Gold House, the GoldFutures Challenge. HCIR was selected with nine other finalists out of 160 applicants working on advancing the agency, power, voice, and visibility of AAPI communities. This funding is the first that HCIR has received and will serve as a catalyst to fully launch the coalition in Hawai‘i. The Legal Clinic (TLC) has graciously come alongside HCIR to serve as the vehicle for the funding. TLC is providing one year of capacity building support to help HCIR become a sustainable organization over the long term.
